About Vicking Ventures

Founded in 2017 by Victor King'ang'ai, Vicking Ventures has grown from a passion for the outdoors into a full-service adventure & sports company operating across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zanzibar, DRC, and Dubai.

Victor holds a BSc in Sports & Exercise Science and an MSc in Recreation & Sports Management from Kenyatta University, and is a certified PADI Open Water Diver with 8+ years in outdoor education.

We combine adventure travel, sports coaching, youth mentorship, and corporate facilitation — all anchored in safety, professionalism, and genuine love for the outdoors.

Payment Data

Booking & Payment

All prices are quoted and contracted in Kenya Shillings (KES). Foreign currency displays are indicative only. A deposit of 50% is required to confirm any booking, with the balance due 7 days before the activity date. We accept M-Pesa, PayPal, bank transfer, and cash.

Safety & Liability

Participants must disclose any medical conditions. Vicking Ventures reserves the right to exclude participants whose condition may pose a risk. All activities carry inherent risk; participants join at their own assessment of fitness.

Minimum Numbers

Group trips require minimum numbers to run. If minimums aren't met, we'll offer a full refund or alternative date.

If we cancel or significantly alter an activity due to weather, safety, or insufficient numbers, you'll receive a full refund or free rebooking.

PayPal: Register at developer.paypal.com. Use PayPal Checkout SDK. Test with sandbox credentials first.
Note: API credentials are stored locally for configuration. For production, implement a backend server to securely handle API calls — never expose secret keys in frontend code.
